New Construction and The Home Buying Process

Building a New Home and The Home Buying process in general – have A LOT of similar characteristics.

When building a New Home – the first and most important task here is the proper construction of the foundation. The foundation is rarely thought about from this point forward – unless of course, there is a problem with it. All of the – Next Steps – the framing, the brick work, the flooring, the well designed Kitchen and Bathrooms are highlighted the most. But if there is a problem with the foundation – the “Real Value” of the trim work, the painting, the New Home – are overlooked. The first step – The Foundation – has got to be perfect for the rest of the construction and enjoyment of the New Home to be truly valued.

In The Home Buying Process – the “Foundation” – is the lender you elect to have provide your mortgage financing. The “prequalification letter” and preapproval process – is not one that is thought much about once the home buying process begins – Unless – Of Course – the lender is not thorough and is not detailed on the front end to provide the buyer with the most accurate information possible.

The takeaway here? Foundation and Financing can be done many ways – but going with a Local and Reputable mortgage lender can – AND WILL – make The Home Buying Process so much more enjoyable!!!
